    Hi friends,

We’d like to add a custom field (a listing custom field), like the ones we create on Listing Settings below the Listing’s title.

How could be better achieve this?

Please see screenshot to see what we are talking about.

GDV1 requires customization to alter the display of fields outside of the More info tab or the Detail page sidebar.

You will have a lot more success and control with GDV2, with which you can easily customize the Detail template page using Blocks or shortcodes.

You could use this example to start with

If you don’t want to get into this kind of customization consider upgrading to GDV2

    Hi Alex, thanks!!

Does the same happen with the default sidebar elements?
    (see screenshot).

We would like to remove some, and reorder other.

Again it is not so easy to do these things in GDV1. You can DEFINITELY do that, and in minutes, with GDV2.

If you are determined, all that can be done via hooks in GDV1

By searching in the forum you can find plenty of examples, please see:
