When adding a listing and using the dropdown for the city location which should be Granger, it wont accept on the map and the template overwrites to a differnt location, Mishawaka.
I have attached screen shots showing the location from thier website as well as showing how the template overwrites the location.

I was able to correct my events that are tied to that address location. However, new events at a separate location are still showing incorrectly. There will be a lot of event listings in Granger, so this is a problem. Attached is a screenshot of the goolgle address showing correct, along with the event address showing incorrectly in Mishawaka.

If you do not like the city suggested by the Google API, then you can change it after you add the marker to the map [even Google gets things wrong 🙂 ]
You can just drag the marker to the correct spot, and then change the city, but do NOT click on “set on map” again.
Or you can use the address, then click on “set on map” which will set the marker, and then change the city, but do NOT click on “set on map” again. Thanks
June 13, 2019 at 3:32 am #492688The map is showing correct. The city shows correct until you click “set on map”. Then it overwrites the city. Even if your instructions did show the correct city until you clicked “set on map” the real issue is this site is designed to encourage people to add thier own listings. When it shows correctly on the map with the incorrect city, the end user will not understand any extra steps to have thier listing show correct. How do we get the correct city to show on the map when entered from the front end?
June 13, 2019 at 3:52 am #492691You could ask Google to correct how they use addresses in that area.
I’ll check with the developers if they have any better suggestions.
ThanksJune 13, 2019 at 3:58 am #492692I guess I am confused since it shows correctly on google maps. This is the link for the location of one of the events which shows fine. This doesnt appear to be a google issue.
June 13, 2019 at 9:13 am #492744Hello,
We uses the address details that Google returns for address Geo search.
Which address you are searching in address autocomplete?Kiran
June 13, 2019 at 9:45 am #492750Kiran, the Google auto-suggest is correct, see image 1.
But then the city changes, see image 2.
The screenshots are from my test site, so it is happening on 2 different sites. The address is
