Hi,
i followed the steps to duplicate the templates under the child theme folder but how can i change the page layout of a listing detail page?
For example i need to maket it “boxed” like theme’s default instead fullwidth or i need to change the page margin.
In the file i can only see lot’s of calls to functions and not HTML or CSS code.
ThanksDecember 5, 2018 at 5:00 pm #457238Hi,
why aren’t you using V2 that solves that problem out of the box?

We recommend to start new website with V2…
Thanks
December 5, 2018 at 5:01 pm #457239Hi there,
Thanks for your post. If you only need to style the listing detail page into a “boxed” layout and margin adjustments, you can achieve this custom CSS and there is no need to edit the GD templates https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
Thanks!

December 6, 2018 at 8:42 am #457296Hi there,
If GDv2 is not your choice. Could you share the URL of your Website here and also tell us how do you want it to look like and I’ll let you know if it’s possible using custom CSS? If it’s something simple, we can definitely help with stylings but if it’s too complicated, you’ll need to find someone else to help you with this.
Thanks!
December 6, 2018 at 4:42 pm #457379Hi, it can be my choice but is still a releade candidate and not a stable version.
Or you released the stable version?December 6, 2018 at 4:52 pm #457382by the time you website will be finish, it will be an official release. The RC is stable enough for a live website already.
Thanks

December 7, 2018 at 3:10 pm #457516Shortcodes for V2 are different.
If you open a post or page you will find the shortcode builder next to the Add Media button (in the classic editor) or use Blocks.

December 10, 2018 at 11:33 am #457848Hi, no button on the editor. that’s the problem, i don’t have any button to generate the shortcode

It is probably a conflict with another plugin blocking the display of the shortcode editor button. You can try disabling other non-GD plugins to identify the conflict.
