Advice on custom post type

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Powers that be require name change on menus and forms of Business instead of Place.

    At present will only be offering place and then event. Currently, nothing customized by custom post.

    My question is…would I be smarter to go through and rename stuff within existing place — to business?

    Or would I be smarter to create a new CPT?

    Whatcha think?
