    Is this extension the actual Affiliate Program / plugin OR is this just one other component needed in addition to the actual Affiliate WP plugin that costs an additional fee?

    That should be removed in the next version of GDV2. It is the old GD addon, as far as I know, and has been superceded by the WPI Addon.

    So to clarify…..if I purchase the WPI Addon for $19.00 (it should work with v2) and it will serve as the entire affiliate program that I’ve been asking about, right? And nothing else should be needed…?

    Alex, I just purchased the 5 site license of AffiliateWP Integration from the link you shared above. I’ve installed, activated and entered in the license key.

    Where do I setup the affiliate program to allow affiliates to sign up and market my website?

    Oh no, no, no! I’m NOT spending one more dime on GD or any of it’s addons. We can’t even get what we have working. I’ll just request a refund then for my WPI purchase earlier. No thank you!

    WooCommerce is a complete ecommerce system, but doesn’t provide a tool for affiliate programs.
    Easy Digital Download too.
    Same happens with GeoDirectory.

    Building an Affiliate system is a complex task and 100% of affiliate platforms are built by 3rd party developers to be compatible with ecommerce systems.

    I don’t know of any ecommerce system to sell digital, physical products or listings that includes an tool for affiliate tracking too.

    Just wanted to clarify.

    That plugin is an affiliate platform just like AffiliateWP and unless they made it compatible with GDV2 I fear it is not.

    So is it compatible with GD v1 then? If so, the website I’m stressing about trying to update (ShopRVA.com) uses GD v1.

    How long will GD v1 still be around….? (especially since I can’t get v2 to stop crashing)

    Also, is GeoMarketPlace compatible with GDv1?

    Also, does Supreme Directory work on v1? If so, do you have a demo site or a real site that I can see what it looks like?

    Answer is the same, unless they made it compatible with GDV1 I fear it is not.

    V2 when released on wordpress.org will be the only version we will continue to develop and support.

    We will only release security patches for v1 for few months when and if required to allow everyone a smooth transaction.

    If there is an issue with your site, please make a new ticket and tell us about it so we can address it.

    Why is GD v1 Supreme Directory telling me my license expired when my subscription is valid til July 2019…? Expired April 25, 2017

    Alex,

    I really like the layout of the Supreme Directory child theme.

    However, we have already created our own landing page / child theme as seen here https://shoprva.com/

    Is there still a way to have our existing landing page remain in tact and have the supreme directory child theme layout serve for the listings? Please explain.

    Supreme is free, so you can get it again from WordPress.org for V1 or you can get the V2 version from our shop. Don’t forget to get Directory starter at the same time.

    WordPress only allows 1 theme at a time, sorry to say.
