Alternative to Standard Method of Listings per Page

I have read how to do it (from Settings) and I am using Whoop theme. I need listings and my front page (which has blog posts) to be separate. Trying to speed up my home page with less server/db inquiries so I decreased blog posts to 5 per page which decreased my listings per page. 🙁

Is there some way to have them separate or is that a coding job?

Hello!

Those settings are tied together and adding new settings would be a customization. Let us know if you get some code together and we can provide advice.
