Due to the limited width on the sidebar, is it possible to have two different Archive Items styles, the first is the default (which has title image badges description etc.) and a second Archive Item that has, lets say, just title and image.

I am aware of CPT custom Archive Item pages and I did create one. But, it seems that I can use only one style Archive Item for both sidebar and Archive Page.

    Is there a workaround?

    My best regards

    Hi Mazin,

Thanks for your post. You can overwrite a CPT Archive Item here “Template Page Settings” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/general/#template-page-settings . May I know how does look like on your end and how do you want it to look like? Maybe we can use custom CSS code to adjust some stylings.

Thanks Kor, but overwriting a CPT template will not give me TWO different styling options, one for content area (with all bells and whistles) and the second for the sidebar (just image and title).

In addition to the above, I wanted to show you the widget and the options available. please see attached. There are no option in the design to, lets say, hide Place Description, or the Social Links or the Star Rating.

The reason for all of this as a mentioned is that sidebars are limited in area and I would like to limit the information of a Place displayed in the sidebar ONLY.

I hope this make it clearere.

    hi mazin,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, there isn’t an option out of the box that allows you to achieve what you needed there. But it’s possible using custom CSS code, could you share the URL of the page here in question so that I could check on it?

GD Listings now has support for Elementor archive item choice of template.

Otherwise you will need to use the list item hide option or custom CSS.
