Blog opens when I use search

    Hi!
    I somehow managed to cause a strange behavior. Using the search function I am not getting any results but it seems to go to the list layout of the blog. If there is no blog item, I am getting a “no results” message.

    It did work, but at some point I must have messed up a setting – but I can´t figure out what´s wrong.

    Brilliant as I am I managed to do this twice on two different installations – once with DIVI as template, once with “Directory Starter”.

    Any idea what might be causing this?

    Sounds like a conflict with some other plugin. Are you using any other plugin that changes the standard WP search?

    Hi!
    I guess I should have slept a little more over the past few days – the error was stupid!

    I had done some modifications in the custom_functions.php – which worked well. BUT, during the final saving of that file (after only editing a comment in the code) there must have been a problem with the connection and the file somehow got screwed up. When I checked the file this morning, I found some weird characters in the middle of “function geodir_show_detail_page_tabs()” – this has caused that behavior.

    Sorry for that, but I was looking for hours in the forums etc. without finding anything before posting this last night. It still is strange that I didn´t get any error message but got redirected to the blog… I´ll have a look into that later, now I need to catch up with my work as I lost quite some time due to stupidity…
