But it seems that I should be able to switch back to the original. In addition, when it changed over to Boss._custom, I didn’t make any changes or imports. I simply clicked the “Save” button on the bottom of the page setting. Not sure what happened there.
Any way to remove the imported theme compatibility json? Maybe that will force it to use the original.

We won’t be able to help more with this theme. In both 1. and 2. the developers have taken a look and the theme cannot be adjusted without significant customization, with CSS at least and perhaps also changes to the template.
The developers advise to consider the use of V2 to minimize the interaction between GD and the theme.
We also looked through previous Boss threads and those were for a different version (?) that has a different structure, and so were of no help for a solution.
That is why the Boss settings are not helping, from the theme compatibility page.
To remove those you can simply save any of the settings and then remove the customizations, then save again to apply the changes, removing any of the theme compatibility settings.
We do try to make GD work with any theme, but in some cases there are significant differences with the way the underlying theme operates, and so you can understand why we are also eager to see adoption of V2 that leaves many of these types of issues behind.

I have since installed V2. I had issues with the upgrade so I restored a previous version before I installed GD V1. I’m still having issues.
None of the listing detail fields are appearing. Can you please have a look? Try to add a listing and you will see what I am referring to. I’d love to go forward with V2, it looks great!
Thank you.
September 28, 2018 at 12:38 am #448057It’s also affected my header menu items. 🙁
September 28, 2018 at 1:44 am #448072Another update: I imported some dummy listings, now I have a single listing field available…but the rest are missing.
Please help. I really don’t want to use another directory plugin. I love GD! Thank you.

There was a caching issue, i have re-saved field order from Places > Settings > Custom Fields > Moved one of field up-down.
Now it showing all fields. Also i have set some GeoDirectory widgets to sidebar now it looks fine.

I have let the theme developer know.
In any regard, the icons look fine without GD. How can I disable the plugin from trying to affect the header? Or since GD is overriding the theme icons, can I just edit with css to match the original theme?
Thank you again for looking into this, I appreciate it!
