    I am in the process of purchasing GeoDirectory plugins and a theme. I was wondering if anyone has a good example of how BuddyPress looks integrated with GeoDirectory? I looked at the demos but could not find a site where BuddyPress was integrated.

    We recommend UsersWP.

    BuddyPress, like GeoDirectory, is supposed to look basically the same anywhere it is used. Of course some themes will add special styles, but GD is a plugin, not a theme, and we don’t add any particular styles to the BP Profile.

    The GeoDirectory integration with BP provides tabs to show the listings that the user owns on their profile.

    Thank you for the quick response. I am just a little confused. Do you recommend using UsersWP instead of BuddyPress, or in addition to BuddyPress. If it is instead of, then will UsersWP take out alot of the social aspect that BuddyPress offers?

    Yes, I read through that info. So, I think Alex was suggesting to not use BuddyPress and use UsersWP instead. It seems the two are fairly different plugins. BuddyPress appears to be a social plugin, while UsersWP appears to be more of a directory type plugin for users. They seem very different in the functionality. Just wondering why Alex suggested to not use BuddyPress and use UsersWP as a replacement?

    There are many more integrations useful to a directory with UsersWP, and it is smaller/slimmer/faster than BP. We do recommend you use UsersWP instead of BP unless you are already making money with BP or otherwise have a real demand for those features unique to BP.
