Can I sort events by tags

    I was looking at the shortcodes for places and noticed that they had the option to sort by tags.

    Here is my issue, I am going to have a Things to Do page… I want to have posts to of events show in several sections: Events by Season, Events by Month, and events by theme.

    Should I use a sorting feature shortcode based on categories? Would this get messy and be better sorted by tags?

    Lastly if sorting by tags is the best option, is there shortcode for that?
