Cannot change default listing type using [gd_add_listing] shortcode

    Unable to change default listing type using the gd_add_listing shortcode.

    Here’s my code:
    [gd_add_listing listing_type=gd_special login_msg=”Please register and login to submit listings” show_login=true]

    It defaults to gd_place and ignores the listing_type parameter.

    Hi,

    just to be clear, you need to add a NEW WP PAGE to use the code Kor shared.

    Your original add listing page should contain the default content and be set in the settings at

    GD – Settings – General – Pages

    Thanks guys. I have it as a separate page, and it still doesn’t work. I tried Kor’s code but it still defaults to gd_place (not gd_special). It ignores the argument.

    I will wait for a fix. There are other bugs I’m hoping will be resolved soon which have been reported to you as well. Thank you!

    Make sure your main add listing page has at least the default content.

    Yep. This is still an issue. I ended up using a plugin to redirect the page to the right listing form using the listing_type URL variable.
