Cannot Upload CSV Files

Six months ago we were able to update our site very easily by creating an Excel or Numbers spreadsheet with the correct fields, then exporting it as a CSV, then importing it directly into GeoDirectory.

We’re doing the same thing now, but we keep getting the message “Array( [error] => Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.)”

What changed? We’ve invested paid staff to create the spreadsheets without know it would not work now.

BTW: We are not using the new version yet of GeoDirectory because it requires too much time at the moment to make the changes required by the upgrade.

We just tried the recommended plug-in https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/, and that seems to have worked, but the data still was not able to be processed, and the plugin itself says it should be disable after WordPress 4.7.3 is available

Please follow the recommended process described on the paged linked by Kor, it should help you overcome any difficulties with import.
