    Hi,

I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I’m not able to download dummy data. I clicked on the ‘Insert Data’ buttons multiple times but nothing happens–no loader, no indication of any activity whatsoever. I have bought, installed, and activated all the addons.

    Please help me. Thank you

    Hi Ben,

Did you follow the basic getting started guide from this section of the documentation? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/guide-to-setting-up-your-geodirectory-website/ . If you still couldn’t figure it out, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

Yeah, I followed the instructions up to the point of downloading the dummy data, of course. I am looking at past issues with this and it looks like it might be related to Google API? However, I followed the instructions for that as well and have just saved an API key onto my site per step 4-9 of the Add Google API KEY document.

    Hi Kor,

Before we try something like that, I have a hunch that this may be related to me not being able to set my default location. Unfortunately, I do not see that option in trying to set up the plugin because, apparently, the addons that I have installed have obscured that menu option. Would you be able to tell me how to find the “set default location” menu now that I have installed/activated all the addons (are there particular ones I can deactivate?), or must I deactivate/uninstall everything and start over?

Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Ben,

It’s really hard to tell without seeing the backend and doing some inspecting. Could you please share WP temp admin access so that we could take a better look at your setup? You can use the private reply option below (only GD staffs are able to see it)

    Thanks
