June 16, 2015 at 2:25 pm #42693My “Save Changes” button under the GeoDirectory -> General Settings section is no longer there. I am trying to turn the option on to allow users to select their own passwords but I can’t save it. Any ideas why? I’ve tried Chrome and Safari on Mac and Chrome and IE on Windows wondering if it was a weird browser issue, all other setting windows seem to have the save changes button at the bottom. Attached are two screenshots so you can see the spacing issues… Thanks June 16, 2015 at 2:47 pm #42699Hi, there is something wrong, maybe conflicts with some other plugin…we need url and login details to check properly, thanks June 16, 2015 at 3:42 pm #42712This reply has been marked as private.June 16, 2015 at 5:06 pm #42721Hi, I have checked and I see an error due to the plugin mobiloud which is most likely having conflicts with the jQuery in the backend June 16, 2015 at 5:24 pm #42723Thanks for taking a look. I tried deactivating the Mobiloud plugin and I still can’t save it. Any other thoughts? Would it have anything to do with this error: Every time I tried to activate a plugin (Geo Directory or any plugin) I get sent to a page that has this in red text: There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin. Thanks, Jack June 16, 2015 at 5:27 pm #42724I still can see the mobiloud error (attached) are you using any cache plugin or CDN ? On WPengine perhaps? June 16, 2015 at 5:41 pm #42728Hmmm – do you see it now? I just purged the cache for the system… Thanks, Jack June 16, 2015 at 5:41 pm #42729I see a 500 internal server error that I think is what the problem is. Please see image attached. Thanks June 16, 2015 at 5:45 pm #42731But it is only one the General Settings tab? All of the others seem to work for me. June 16, 2015 at 6:05 pm #42733a 500 internal server error should be tracable. Do you have access to your server errorlogs or can you ask the server admin to let you know what’s actually causing the error? This error too, I would ask them what the problem is:

There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin.GeoDirectory is obviously installed and active. Thanks June 16, 2015 at 6:10 pm #42736I’ll reach out to their support and see. Attached is the error log that I have access to… June 16, 2015 at 7:12 pm #42748PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_autoinstall_admin_header() in geodirectory/geodirectory-admin/admin_functions.php on line 2162, referer: This error is very strange, because the function is in that same file: geodirectory/geodirectory-admin/admin_functions.php I would investigate the error you mentioned, saying it can’t determine if GD is installed and active or not, because I think that’s were the problem is originating. I think only server admins can help you with this. Thanks June 16, 2015 at 7:20 pm #42749Thanks guys – I worked with the admins and had them take it off of Multi – site as I don’t need it anymore and was just trying out a concept. The error still occurred so I deactivated the GeoDirectory plugin and then Activated it again, now I can save on general tab and I no longer get that error. So seems like that fixed it. Thanks again for the help and looking into it! June 16, 2015 at 7:22 pm #42750Awesome news! 🙂 June 17, 2015 at 2:01 am #42818Now I did notice that even if you have the box checked to allow users to set their password the screen still says that they will be emailed one… it does this in your demo as well. I believe if the option is set to allow them to select their password they shouldn’t see this note? Screenshot attached. Thanks, Jack
