Categories and tags widgets

I see that there is no widget for tags and for normal complete categories, just popular, that they show all, not popular.

I am looking for two things.

1- Add a widget with all categories in two columns in the sidebar.
2- Add a widget with a tag cloud.

Can someone please let me know how ?

1. You can add the Popular Post Category widget. Not quite 2 columns …
2. Just add the WP Tag cloud and select the type of tag you want to show.

Why popular if it display just all the categories without any popular order?

It just shows things from a to z, not by popular. The name for that should change to “categories” and nothing else. (It only confuses thinking its popular when its not)

I will try to custom show them with CSS.

About the tags, I missed the dropdown to select which ones, thanks.
