    Hello,
I’ve looked at a post with a similar problem in the forum but the solution did not worked for my case.

By checking in the browser inspector it come out that the icons are loaded but with a wrong url (see atachment). What it happens is that the url is composed by

    https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/

post-pended with the full url of the icon image

    https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/https:/www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/my-icon.png

thus creating a not existing address.

    Thank you

    Hi Vito LATERZA,

Thanks for your post. You need to use the Better search and replace plugin to fix the issue you had there. Follow this https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/mixed-content/#bsr

Hi Kor, thanks for the reply.
    I use that tool.
Do you mean that those wrong string are written in the DB so I just have to (Better) “search and replace” them? I though they were “composed” somehow in the code at running time.

Just to re-launch the matter, I don’t believe this is a problem of mixed content (the website is already https).
The problem is that somehow the url of the category icons is built by combining the base upload folder with the full path of the attachment thus resulting in a wrong url.

    Hello Vito,

Issue has been fixed. You have defined static content url via wp-config.php file and it caused issue in marker icons.

Please check and let us know.

    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,
    thanks for your hint.
I still can’t see the icons on the map… Did you modified something in wp-config? Or should I do it?

    EDIT:
Sorry, now I can see. It was maybe a matter of caching.

The loading of the map in the GD pages is quite slow compared to other pages (we use Comet Cache), do you believe there’s something that can be improved?
