Change default name

    Is it possible to change the default category name from “Places” to something else? If so, will the change affect the listings I already have under the “Places” category?

    You can do that with the Custom Post Types addon, and it will not affect any listings at all unless you change the slug for Places as well, then the URL of the listings might change.

    Do you have instructions on how to do that? I have 3000+ users on my site, don’t want to mess something up

    Make sure Custom Post Types addon is installed and activated.
    Then go to GD > Custom Post Types > look for “Places” and choose “Edit” > change the labels
