Somehow, change location switcher, only city can be changed, Country and Region are locked, cannot change at all. Please advise if this is controlled in setting? (they used to work without issue)
thanks

December 25, 2018 at 3:19 am #459901There is no setting for that …
Is that only happening when you are on a page specific to a country and region?
Do you have the same issue when starting from the homepage?Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if you want us to have a closer look.
Thanks

See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cachepluginsYou cannot use the Location page as the homepage of your site, I changed that at WP settings > Reading.
Please check now. Thanks

I’ll get Stiofan to have a look at your two last posts too.
Thanks
December 26, 2018 at 1:33 am #459954Great. Thanks. Currently performance is the only concern.
I have tried Wp fast cache again, proof that it was the caused for location switch issue. And i have tested the loading by using GD booster and WP fast cache, being later one about 2 secs faster.
How is your V2 booster? After this project, we are building another one which has a lot more data than this one. Apart from using more RAM, any other way to improve loading time?
December 26, 2018 at 11:30 am #459992Hi Kai,
Loading that many markers on each hope page load can be resource intensive, i would recommend you either deselects all but one main category so it only loads a fraction of the markers or even replace it with an image that links to a dedicated map page.
Thanks,
Stiofan
December 26, 2018 at 12:05 pm #459998Chrrently i have loaded only one category, other categories are all empty.
I have tried to redirect to user location page so that records are far less. But found that it will load everything as usual initially, then redirect to location. This will be even slower. This is why i am trying to see if i avoid to load home page.

December 26, 2018 at 12:31 pm #460005You are loading all categories in one CPT for the moment.
What Stiofan means is to deselect some categories at GD > Design > Map > Select category to untick by default on map.
You will need to un-hide the map legend again though. Thanks
December 26, 2018 at 12:58 pm #460008You mean if I do not load all categories in one CPT, legend will be shown?
I will try more and see if there are other alternatives.
Thanks
Sam
December 26, 2018 at 1:07 pm #460010The legend is independent from the choice made at “GD > Design > Map > Select category to untick by default on map”.
You are hiding the map legend with this CSS:
.map_category {display: none;}https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#legend
