How do I change the entry-title and also put in a subtitle?
Site: http://lovefortennis.co.uk/
I installed the plugin “Code Snippets” and inserted the code:
<div class=”header-wrap”>
<h1 class=”entry-title”>MY HOME PAGE NEW TITLE</h1>
<div class=”entry-subtitle”>MY HOME PAGE SUB TITLE</div>
</div>I activated the plugin and code snippets .
syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘What am I doing wrong?
I have spent more than a day and any help will be much appreciated.
JayMay 29, 2017 at 12:08 pm #380598Hi Jay,
That’s not the correct way to do that. May I know which title are you trying to change? Is it the one on the home page?
Thanks!
May 29, 2017 at 2:11 pm #380626Thanks Kor – yes, the title on the Home Page
See attached imageMay 29, 2017 at 2:53 pm #380633Hi Jay,
That is actually the page title. You can edit the page title in the backend. Have you tried it?
Thanks!

please see the home page section of this doc: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/
Thanks
May 30, 2017 at 9:28 am #380737Hi,
Editing the Page Title in the Backend also changes the Menu item !!!! For example changing the “Home” page to “Directory” changes the Menu item to “Directory”.
Installed Beaver Page Builder (Lite) but unable to edit the “Entry-Title”. Followed all the instructions. Using the Supreme Directory theme. Do I need to buy the paid version?
No difference when I disabled the “Code Snippet” plugin.
My experience of WP is that too many plugins eventually gets the whole site crashing or worse corrupting the code, particular during upgrades. I prefer to use plugins that are self contained.
Very urgent.

May 30, 2017 at 2:29 pm #380802Hi Jay,
I’ve just changed the page title to “Directory” http://prntscr.com/fdubga and changed the menu to “menu” http://prntscr.com/fdubnk . Is this what you’re looking for?
Thanks!
May 30, 2017 at 3:05 pm #380803Thank you, Kor.
Yes that is what I was looking.
But can you tell me how it is done?
Will it revert back as it was if the template is updated? When I was trying out the “Menu” item name followed the “Home Page” name.
Further,
How do I change the font size?
and
Put another line below it?May 30, 2017 at 4:50 pm #380819Hi Jay,
I just took another look at your Website and it looks like you’ve customized it already. Which font size you are trying to change? and the line?
Thanks!
May 30, 2017 at 8:53 pm #380856The font of the “entry-title” which is
“Directory of tennis clubs, shops & coaches.”
and just below that I would to a single line of text in smaller font.Pl let us know the steps in case it is overwritten on upgrades.
JatMay 31, 2017 at 3:20 pm #380956Any tips?
May 31, 2017 at 3:44 pm #380963You changed that already in your css:
.sd .featured-area h1.entry-title { font-size: 30px; }Thanks
May 31, 2017 at 3:57 pm #380966Thanks Paola. I just realised that.
And how do insert an additional line (a tag line) -
