    Hi guys,
This will probably be the easiest question you get today. I recently purchased the Multi-location add-on for a domain that I don’t want to continue using at this point in time. My question is – can I somehow take the plugin GeoDirectory Location Manager from the domain which I don’t want use and install it on my preferred domain? It will still be on one domain which is what I paid for, or do I need to purchase it again for my preferred domain?
    Thanks in advance 🙂

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you’ll need to deregister the license from your old site and activate it on your new site. But if you purchased the “Unlimited Sites” package, you can use it on any Websites.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply.
How do I deregister the license and activate it on my new site? What are all the steps required to do this?
I only purchased the single site purchase.

    2) is it possible to deactivate the plugin in my current domain and the use CPanel to copy or move the file to my new domain for it to work?

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply. Could you share the WP access to your new Website in private reply along with your license code?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply. You should be able to find your purchase code using this link https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/ . Also, I noticed that you’ve not installed the “Multilocation” addon. Could you please check?

    Thanks!

Thanks for that. I haven’t installed it because I don’t know how to move it from one domain to another, I asked you ‘what are all the steps required to do this’. Your reply was ‘Thanks for your reply. Could you share the WP access to your new Website in private reply along with your license code?’. I shared the details with you thinking you might do it for me as you didn’t answer my question.

    1) What do I need to do to move it across?
    2) Can you provide me with another ZIP file to upload, and I use the existing license key for it?
    3) Can I just move the file using CPanel?

    Thanks

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you just have to perform the same plugin installation like you did on your previous Website. As for your license key, install the WP easy updates plugin first then you should be able to activate the addon following the instructions here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#updates

    Thanks!
