    Hey there,

I just renewed my membership, but i have a lot of custom PHP in my old version of WPGD. I am going to go through the PHP files and try to find all of it so I can save my changes before upgrading. I don’t want to do this every time there is a new update. Is it possible to save these changes somewhere else so I don’t have to worry about this? Please advise. I’m also looking for an expert to join our team for further development of our directory features. If interested, please contact me at kevin.demara@gmail.com

    Thanks!

You should avoid customizing plugin files themselves.
Here are a few links that should assist to make your plugins upgrade-proof:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#snippets
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/

    Thanks
