    Hi Giri,

    I updated the GD, Starter, and Supreme. The Google Map no longer functions, and a php code snippet which was displaying marquee ads is no longer functioning because the horizontal scroll is now magically vertical. I removed it completely now back to virgin file structure just updated as mentioned.

    In a private reply I will explain more as follows:

    1. I guess Giri was talking about this plugin, not the one you are using:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#snippets
    The snippet is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-theme-faqs/

    2. Why don’t you just use the shortcode to the page?
    I added the code where it was, please make a note for the future:
    Supreme Directory: Full Width Page Page Template (page_full-width.php)

    I don’t know why it looks like that, you may want to review the carousel settings or contact the plugin developer.

    4. To add it to a detail page template, review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
    Or you can add it in the footer.php file if you want it above all footers.

    Hi Jimmy,

    Thanks for your reply and I’m sorry for the late response. I’ll try to answer you questions accordingly.

    #1 I’ve checked this page http://www.allmecklenburg.com/places/ and the map seems to be working correctly. http://prntscr.com/dijioi

    #2 The custom CSS code I’ve provided earlier seems to be working when I tested it using the Google Inspector http://prntscr.com/dijm93. Could you please double check on the credentials? It seems invalid as I’m getting “invalid Username/Password”.

    #3 Could you please replicate the issue again so that I could check on it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

    Did you take a moment to check to see why the php code is blowing out the home page and loading the marquee vertically, and the address format, and the Google map issues all arose following upgrade.

    Master Genius Stiofan,

    I knew you could do it. You did it! The php coding is now flawless display on the Carousel and that is huge progress. Clearly, you are the master genius indeed.

    The screenshot image was captured moments ago and shows no map. Rollover main navigation LISTING and click on PLACES. No map loads. I also tried adding the MAP plugin and created a new MAP KEY but nothing is working to fix that blank map issue.

    You fixed the ADDRESS FORMAT (space) but you added too many commas, so no worries I can remove the two extra commas between State and Zip and after the ZIP no worries.

    God Bless America and all of the GENIUS folks at WPGEODIRECTORY.

    Hello,
    just change it to:

    span[itemprop="addressLocality"]:after {content: ", ";}
    span[itemprop="addressRegion"]:after {content: " ";}

    Thanks,

    Stiofan 🙂
