Hi, I am currently using Directory Starter fro my website http://www.salseros-international.com. I would like to change the template by replacing Directory Starter with the Twenty Eleven theme. Is this possible?

I have tried to preview the theme twenty eleven with my current content. The content is not correctly displayed. Should I change the display directly in the widget panel?

Can I choose any template from the wordpress list?

Could you help me?

Hi Beatrice,

I’d like you to know that we’re aiming to be compatible with as many plugins/themes as possible so could you tell us a little bit more about the problem that you’re having?. Have you tried reconfiguring some of the required settings as mentioned in this section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/getting-started/ and see if that works for you?

GeoDirectory was originally built on 2011… If everything is setup correctly everything should work…

Hi, Thank you for your replies.

My issue is that I like the GeoDirectory plugin as it is very easy to use. However, the Directory Starter theme doesn’t look attractive and modern. That is why I am considering changing from Directory Starter to a more modern and design theme.

However, if I change the theme, will I lose all my posts? Will the users still see the updated events? The GeoDirectory events plugin is essential for the website.

I have found the theme that would be better. It is actually your free supreme directory! How could I change from Directory starter to Supreme Directory without losing any data?
