HI Tammy, it will be released when we are done developing it. An Alpha is ready, I’m trying to also insert some GD widget in the page template builder of the theme, so that an home page with mixed elements can be built.
If you subscribe to this post you will receive notifications about it.
Thanks,

I just came back for telling you that I would like a multi conuntries and multi cities All In One Google Map in the homepage, if this widget is already planified, it will be great.
Hope i did not disturbe too much.
ThanksMay 19, 2014 at 7:10 pm #2559Hi,
at the moment we have made the theme and the plugin compatible through a child theme:
you can set GeoDirectory home as your home page or use the regular avada home page and use GeoTheme home page as an internal page:
http://themegeodirectory.com/home/
Now we are working on Integration, basically make sure that if you use the avada home page, you can also add GD elements to it, maninly home map and popular post widgets.
I can start releasing this as an Alpha if you anyone is interested in start doing some tests and reporting bugs.
Thanks for letting me know,
May 19, 2014 at 7:21 pm #2563Hi @paolo,
I’m working with Avada and I would love to help you test the new child theme ;). Maybe you can open a new forum to get it easier to report bugs.
Thank you in advance.
May 20, 2014 at 4:32 pm #2638ONce I have a decent beta I’ll release it. Useless to release it now…
May 20, 2014 at 5:22 pm #2642Ok, @paolo. However, it’s possible that you share with us at least the detail page template you have used? I see you have added the title with the Avada format and this could be useful for me to figure out how to do a few other changes on the theme. Thank you very much for your work ;).
May 21, 2014 at 2:35 am #2681It it possible to include the GD Header Right widget into Avada or X?
Does anyone know?Thanks in advance!
May 21, 2014 at 9:01 pm #2745Hi @ Paolo,
I just took a look at your above 2 links, I’m thinking about to test it as well, but when i clic at the map icon, this is no information abot the listing, normally there should appear a small listing photo and a couple of information something like the listing name, adress etc.If we test it, will those information appear on the map?
Thanks
May 22, 2014 at 6:44 pm #2843HI Tammy, that’s an Alpha. The icon are not clickable and it is a bug we are solving. When we are done and we have at least a beta where everything works, we will share it.
Thx
May 22, 2014 at 9:45 pm #2849Hi Paolo,
Thanks for all the great efforts. Readed most off the posts concerning Avada but still confused (Also of my bad understanding English – sorry). So I installed Adava + Avada child + plugin GD
Also GD mainframe + GD mainframe child available. What is the way to start as base to work from.
Basetheme = Avada child + Plugin GD and arrange like i want with recoding and widgets GD (no shortcodes , I know)OR
Basetheme = GD mainframe + Plugin GD and arrange with code/pages from Avada?
OR
Wait some days/weeks (i can) for a smoothless integretion sollution you are working on.
Hope I explained good, because of my bad English.
Just meaning tell me: start xxx as theme (Avada child?) /as main en then what. Rest I can handle with coding i suppose to make it fit Avada style.Tia,
JohanMay 22, 2014 at 10:00 pm #2850Hi Johan,
Avada child theme for GD is still under construction. For the moment the best solution is GD Framework + itschild theme.
My english is far from being prfect, so you are in good company.
Thanks,
May 22, 2014 at 10:51 pm #2853🙂 Yes i understand your “bad” English : – )
No, just kidding, seriously Paolo, we have no “production”- site, so time is not an issue. You have us access to write a review on our Belgian/Dutch WP review site.I was asking because the popularity of Avada, we decided to review the plugin with this theme (an other was of course also possible). But from now I understand it is better to wait a while. That is no problem. I think it is better to review after a while when most things are solved and it is safe to suggest/promote GD to everyone who wants/expects a good piece of code that works almost out off the box. Better than say it now en to disappoint people without good knowledge.
So, there is no problem al all. Have you an ideau of timeframe some childthemes (like for Avada) are ready to release to public? Mean is it matter of days/weeks/months?
PS: for what I saw already now GD is a killer, don’t misunderstand me.
May 23, 2014 at 4:50 pm #2917Hi,
we are working on it, but at the same time we are working on various other things. Now Stiofan decided to rewrite plugin templates and css from scratches to make it as compatible as it gets with well written themes. It will take another 3 days minimum before he’s done with it.
We stopped working on Avada and other chidl themes, because once Stiofan is done with this, integration should become much easier.
I hope next week we will be able to come out with at least a new child theme.
Thx for your patience
May 24, 2014 at 12:08 am #2933That’s great news Paolo, I really appreciate the effort your team is putting into this new product!
