Can you please help me with the proper formatting of the select input field? I know that they need to be comma separated but I am unclear about what is exactly meant by this explanation:
    {optgroup}OPTGROUP-LABEL|OPTION-1,OPTION-2{/optgroup}

I have a custom field called Status with options:

    Estimating,Pending Approval,Approved,Scheduling,WIP,Complete,Lost

What exactly should be entered into the options box?

What is happening is the system after updating a listing is forcing the option selected to first letter being lower case. Also the search function does not recognize the field and when I edit the listing it defaults to Estimating with a capital E.

    Running version 2.

    Thanks for your help!

Please share a link with WP Admin credentials so we can check out the settings.

For a simple select a simple comma should be fine like:

    red, blue, green

An opt group shows up like:

    Colors (label, not option)
    – red (option)
    – blue
    – green
    Numbers (label, not option)
    – 1
    – 2
    – 3

    Hi Mark,

I looks like field name status conflicts with WordPress post save. Please try other field name like custom_status or opportunity_status etc.

    Let us know.
