Hi
I have set up CPT Fields and they don’t show on “Add new” page. Please advise.
Thanks
AndreaFebruary 9, 2019 at 1:41 pm #467948I am guessing you did not select a price package for the field, or you did not make the field “Active”.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to have a look at your settings. Thanks

Woocommerce is only handling payments for GD, not price packages.
PS: Also give a link to the other topic please, it is not possible to just find the topic with the reply ID.
Thanks

Please check and if you still have any issues, explain exactly which custom field we need to check.
ThanksFebruary 11, 2019 at 10:01 am #468180Hi
Price packages are set as default recognised in Woo commerce being allocated product number.
The reason the CPT options weren’t showing is because they were auto added in the exclude option of the package set up.
I will continue to upload and see where we are from there. Hopefully this will assist with the CSV upload errors.I didn’t realise that i had to set up the package in GD as well as in Woo Commerce Membership. GD Packages are free, costs detailed in WooCommerce.
Do I need to link the 2 functions, so that once the member pays in Woo they get their log in details from Woo to access the free packages in GD as they have already paid in Woo?
Thank you for your help.
February 11, 2019 at 12:02 pm #468185You need to set up GD packages, if you want to control which custom fields are used for different packages.
If you only have one free GD package, you do not need the Pricing plugin normally.
I am guessing you are charging a fee for registration as a user, not to add a GD listing. The reason the CPT options weren’t showing is because they were auto added in the exclude option of the package set up.
Or because you did not select a price package in the advance settings of the custom field.Login details for a user are used by them for every access to WordPress. It does not matter what plugin they use to register: GD, or UsersWp or Buddypress etc, all are just WP registrations.
Thanks
February 11, 2019 at 12:27 pm #468189HI
Do you have a link of how to add GD Packages to match to the memberships types?Yes I am charging a fee for registration as a user, not to add a GD listing. Restrictions are detailed in Woo Commerce Memberships.
I am presuming from what you are saying that I have to this in GD as well.
I am finding this confusing as I thought I had set this up already with Woo and the SKU in products. Please advise
Thanks

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/woocommerce/
“GeoDirectory Pricing Manager Addon allows you to use WooCommerce for your cart and checkout.
What you need to know
Install WooComerce first before trying to choose Woo as your Cart.
GeoDirectory Price Packages will appear in the Shop.
Customers that select a package from the shop will be directed to the add-listing page.”I have done the above, do i need to something else in consideration of you letting me know “You need to set up GD packages, if you want to control which custom fields are used for different packages.”
Please advise
February 12, 2019 at 2:48 pm #468511That sounds like your setup is complete as far as GD is concerned.
Price Package settings are documented here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/There is not a concept of “member” in GD.
The GD Model is: one package – one listing – one order/invoice.Other members have used a wide variety of membership plugins, each with different features, to manage membership and grant access to creating/editing listings.
However, these are not GD features, and would most likely require a 3rd party plugin.
February 12, 2019 at 3:38 pm #468524There is a way to function WooCommerce Membership and GD. I have read a number of posts where recommendations on membership plugins are made to manage payments and membership criteria from your team.
I have set up restrictions in WooCommerce Memberships adding GD Pages to options for navigation.
I am still confused as to why I need to set up packages, but I am doing that now ensuring the names are the same.
How do you link the GD Packages with the WooCommerce membership? One bit of feedback I will share, promotion of plugins is everywhere, clarity on how they function with each other is another thing. As a user, you then have to ask all concerned to find out who knows and will share on the how, where and the when.
I have had so much communication with various teams, I am considering asking you all for Christmas Dinner.February 12, 2019 at 4:50 pm #468555Well, in theory, if a membership gives a user the right to add listings, then, the pricing manager is not required (and so packages are not needed).
There is not a way to link packages with WC Membership.
February 12, 2019 at 5:46 pm #468565Who tells me how that works?
