Is there a way to import csv larger than 2mb? 2mb is just too small for the job.

October 30, 2018 at 1:47 pm #451863Thanks Kor,
Is this config controls any upload? eg user uploading images, video etc as well? I set it to 2mb as I am trying to avoid user uploading big files while creating listing. If it is, I then have to change ti every time before and after I import CSV
Please advise
Sam

October 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm #451865Hi kai liu,
Yes, that’s correct and this is the section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#general
When you upload listings, you have to manually specify the langitude and longitude.
Thanks
October 30, 2018 at 2:32 pm #451870I have map coordinates in csv already. So it should be alright
I have finished uploading, however, clicking Import Data Now and nothing happened. Please advise.
I use provided sample data csv structure to prepare import data.
there are some null fields including ID. Do I have to create listing ID in my CSV data? I was thinking GD will auto create ID as importing.
What other possible cause for not importing?
October 30, 2018 at 3:03 pm #451884To import data, is address a must? any change to allow NULL for address field? then manually create it later?
October 30, 2018 at 6:23 pm #451905Hi Kai Liu,
Thanks for your reply. Kindly refer to this section of the documentation that explains more about this https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#import-tips .

November 1, 2018 at 11:04 am #452105Hi Kor,
Document mentions that address fields are required for importing data. However, when loading dummy data, all dummies has no address. How can they get pass this? In our case, some of the listing has no address. How can we load csv data without address?
Any place we can manually over rule this?
Thanks
Sam
November 1, 2018 at 11:32 am #452107Hi Sam,
It’s mandatory to specify an address as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#mandatory . For dummy listings, it uses your default location and generates random addresses over that.
Thanks!
November 1, 2018 at 11:58 am #452113Thanks,
when click edit to check the dummy posts, the address fields are all empty.
Anyway, is there a way to bypass address?
Thanks
Sam
November 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm #452128After uploading csv, showing HTTP Error, please advise what caused this error, any documentation for error code?
Thanks
November 1, 2018 at 2:07 pm #452130Please see: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-http-image-upload-error-in-wordpress/
This error is usually associated with an issue on the server (common), or server software, as opposed to the CMS or plugins (rare).
