    Hello good evening,

    I’m now learning to work with GD standard CSV functionality and it is working nice. Never the less i have some few questions :

    – when i do enter french wording with accent, the sentence is not uploaded any more when system do meet the accent (for example if i do try to enter “soudre” sytem will enter “r” – any syntaxe solution to avoid that??
    – Is there a limite (appart from data base field size) to the number of charatere to possibly enter in a field ? i’m thinking more specificly in “post_content”?

    Thanks.

    Yves

    Hello, you could try to use html entities in replacement of the accent,
    see here for more details (so, for example, résoudre will be

    résounder

    )

    about the post_content, the database field is using “longtext” which is A TEXT column with a maximum length of 4,294,967,295 or 4GB (232 – 1) characters. 🙂
