    Hi

I have read all across the forum but I can’t get in in my head even after reading the documentation.
Maybe you could give me some direction?
What I like to do is having a multi select checkbox area. Asking for (example): Pets allowed, TV, Pool, Roomservice.
Now, when any checkbox is checked, it should display an image related to that field in frontend and also, this should be searchable.
This should no big deal but I can’t get it done.
I want to use a multi select checkbox field. How do I upload an image for every option or how do I display it in one line in frontend?
    Thank you.

No not really. I have read that post but I dont know how to make multiselct fields.
I’m not happy about the idea I might have to create 20 single checkboxes so I wanted to go with the multi select. However, I’m not sure how to use it to display images for each selected box.

    Hi,

if you create a multiselect, you cannot add an image for each option.

The list output doesn’t provide a unique CSS for each option.

    Thanks

    Hi @guust
Jup I have checked those but it seems it is not possible.
Maybe you could use this as a feature request:

Create a Fieldset with checkboxes where you are able to upload an image to each checkbox. So if the checkbox has been checked, the image will be displayes in frontend.
There are many useful scenarios for this.

I posted something about this in the private post if you want to take a look at this.

Right now it is a bit messy if you want to show a couple of icons in a row.

    Cheers
    Nick

It is possible for the moment:

    1. Just create 2 or more checkboxes as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-field-examples/
    2. Then create a fieldset as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#fieldset
    3. Order the checkboxes under the fieldset
    4. Adjust CSS to show the icons in a row.

There is no need for a feature request. If you need more help, you can post your requirement in the jobs section.
