    Hello,

I am currently translating my site using WPML but I am unable to find strings to translate for the custom forms I created with Geodirectory. Do you know anything about this difficulty?

I have ran the GD diagnostic tool>Load custom fields translation and get the “Load custom fields in to file for translation: ok” confirmation. Where is that File so I can translate it?

    Thanks

You need to use the MO files of the plugins. Do not change any of the default wording in the backend, but use the language files.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

Once you scanned the custom fields you can merge that file with the GD core language file.

    Hi,

It seems like the db-translations.php file is not getting created after I go through the steps to do so in GD>Tools. No file to be found in the Geodirectory plugin folder (Public HTML>wp content>plugins>geodirectory> no db-translations.php file!).

    Any suggestion?

You should be looking for /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/db-language.php maybe?
    And re-compile using PoEdit.

The explanations page https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/ is naming the file db-translations.php, maybe you could update that.

I scanned the file with WPML and the translation strings are showing up. Thanks.
