    Hi,

    I am trying to show only Vancouver Island in BC Canada on the home page.

    I have places pinned all over the world but I want to have the default view zoomed in on a specific location that has the majority of content (this being Vancouver Island).

    I would rather not “un-select” categories from the other countries (such as “hiking”) due to the fact that there are categories listed under “hiking” on Vancouver island.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for your post. Currently, you can only configure the zoom levels in the Widget settings as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#homepage . Other than that would require customization.

    Hi Kor,

    Yea the zoom levels put me in the middle of the ocean.

    Is there any way to customize Longitude and Lat so I can have the correct zoom level I want AND be placed over the specific location I desire?

    There is an option available to use the settings at GD – Advanced Search

    the redirect settings allow you to redirect the user to the site default location on first load.

    Set the default location to where you want to center the map.
