Customize place template

Hi.
I have GD framework + child theme
I can’t figure out how to customize template for showing the place/listing data.

I wanted to add few custom functions and custom links to the page.
Here is what I was trying to do:
– using hook to add content after the_content
– creating single-gd_place.php template

non is working, my additional content is not showing.
