Customize the Add a Listing form

    Is there any reasonable way to customize the Add a Listing form?

    Things like staff members, tag lines or other custom data are things my client is interested in collecting. Also, if there is a way to customize the form, is there a way to display the data on the listing?

    Hello, removing the defaults fields will involve some custom code, for example here you can see how to remove the tags from the add a listing page.
    Adding the fields in the details page, it’s the same, involving custom code, here you can see how to add, for example, the author link to the details page

    What about support for custom fields? For example, if I don’t use WP defualt custom fields options I may use ACF to add some custom fields to the gd_place custom post type – any way you can (easily) think of to tie the two together with an input field on the front-end form?

    Will the standard GeoDirectory custom fields in Place Settings not solve your problem? Or am I misunderstanding the question?
