Hi. Just setting up the plugin and I cannot add new places without a popup appearing saying please select a location in the Shetland Islands city.

I am using the plugin for a group of islands called Shetland north or UK. Can you please tell me why this won’t work? Must be something to do with google’s addressing?

I can’t share admin access for you as I’m developing the site on a local server.

Just playing around some more and realised google maps treat Shetland (the island group) as one “city” and then small towns within Shetland as other “cities” (they are tiny towns!)

Is there any way around this? I wasn’t expecting to have to buy the multi-location plugin for such a small area.

    Hello!

You can use the Location Manager addon to enable more locations for your directory.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/

GeoDirectory works with the information provided by the GeoCoding services, and we don’t have a workaround for it.
