    OMG the update is awesome. Pretty much all my issues were addressed. You guys rock.

    I found I have a display issue on the Search and Listing pages when I display the Supreme theme on the iPad and start to change orientation.

    Image 1 – If I have the iPad in the portrait position I have two buttons displaying. “Search Listings” and “Show Map”. The “Search Listings” does nothing if you hover/click on it.

    I don’t think it should be displayed on the page because you are already on the Listing Page and you have the search function above it. As a user it confused me.

    If I was to have a button on the Search and Listing pages I would have the Box Icon and the word “Listings” instead of the Magnifying Glass Icon and “Search Listings” and it would do something (but I can’t think of what).

    Image 2 – I click on the “Show Map” button and I get taken to the map page. I now have a “Show Listings” button displayed on the map.

    Image 3 – I click on the “Show Listings” button and turn the iPad to landscape. I am back at the listing page but I can still click the “Show Listings” button on the Map.

    Image 4 – I click the “Show Listings” button on the map the map disappears.

    Questions:

    What is best way to hide the display of the “Search Listings” button on the Search and Listings page?
    What is best way to hide the display of the “Show Listings” button on the map in Image 3 so that the user doesn’t have the opportunity to hide the map by clicking the button?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi smallgeek,

    Try using the custom CSS below to hide those buttons. Let us know if it’s what you’re looking for.

    #hideMap, #showSearch {
    	display:none!important;
    }

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor:

    I added the CSS which got rid of the Search button on the listing page which looks great and makes sense to me. See the first image.

    But now when I click on link to Show Map there is no longer a button to click back to the listings. See the second image.

    I still need to be able to click back to the listings. The issue is when you are on an iPad and start changing orientations you can hide the map when you are on the listing page.

    That being said. Until someone actually points it out to me that you can do this on an iPad I will not worry about it.

    QUESTION: How do you remove the Search button from the listing/search page but still have it show up on the map so they can get back to the listings?

    Thank you for all your patience.

    Hi smallgeek,

    Sorry about that, could you please provide WP admin credentials? I’d like to remove the custom CSS code and perform some test. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Thanks!

    Hi smallgeek,

    I’ve just checked your Website and I’m able to see the issue there. Since you want to be able to go back to the listing page, I’d suggest that you keep that button. So, just use this custom CSS below to hide the “Search Listings” button. As for the missing map when the screen rotates, I’ll check with the developer for this one.

    #showSearch {
        display:none!important;
    }

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Let me go over things:

    * Google Analytics doesn’t close once you open it on the Detail Page.

    It is not supposed to.

    * Google Analytics seems weird to have on Listing Success Page.

    Listing success will show author sidebar in future.

    * No access to Author sidebar.

    Will be in next version.

    * Having the Footer Widget go 4-3-1 doesn’t work as well as 4-2-1.

    As far as i can tell it goes 4-1?

    * Events – using the List display in Tabs (https://www.myweed.ca/dispensaries/british-columbia/nelson/retail-store/the-kootenays-medicine-tree-nelson/#link_business) the description only goes 1/2 way across tab. And the Event dates show up twice in the sidebar.

    That is how the description is supposed to be. The double date thing will be fixed in next release.

    * Also notice the tab display when you click on the link above. It lops off the tops of the tabs.

    I don’t see that?

    * Because you don’t use the user links in the sidebar of the Supreme design (which I like very much) Jeff’s GT-Vouchers does show up nor does the upgrade link, etc. It would be BEYOND AWESOME if all the buttons showed up under the Avatar (Edit, Claim, Add Event, Upgrade, Add Coupon, Go to Listing if it is an Event)

    It should show in sidebar, maybe it didnt before but it does now.

    * When you do enable the User Links in the detail sidebar and click Business Owner button you are redirected to “https://www.myweed.ca/gd-login” and get the Please login/signup to claim your listing” notice twice at top of page.

    I don’t see this (maybe it was fixed)

    * For some bizarre reason when you enable GT-Coupons the Multi-Rating functionality disappears.

    Please ask the author of GT-Coupons, you can find contact details for Jeff on the sales page.

    * Also CSS melts on GT-Voucher pages.

    Please see the plugin author

    * Not having the ability to sort the results in Search like you do in Locations is just weird. You gotta fix this somehow.

    Show me a directory that does this? Tripadvisor and yelp don’t allow this… (there is a long reason why but lets just call it a technical reason for now)

    * Adding Advanced Search fields in The CPT settings – The search button displays compressed on the front end.

    DO u have an example?

    * The Advanced Search doesn’t make sense using the square miles. I am in Canada and for the longest time I thought it meant 40 miles in all directions. Which made sense because of our vast distances and what my users would expect.

    40 square miles covers the biggest city in the world, you can adjust the numbers to your needs.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
