Divi builder conflict

Hi, hope you can help
I’m building a directory site using Divi theme, and for the most part everything is great.
Strange issue occurs when i’m trying to build the page that is designated as the GD Search page – the Divi builder is suddenly unable to display the page builder components, instead it tries to load the front-end page in the Builder window, and then the whole page freezes and becomes unresponsive.

So – if i’m building a page that hasn’t been designated as the Search page (via GD -> Settings -> Pages), the Divi builder works just fine, I can include GD shortcodes etc, no problem.

But as soon as I set that page as the designated Search page in the GD settings, the Divi builder no longer loads properly – and from that point on, I can’t edit the page at all – unless I temporarily designate a different page as the Search page and change it back afterwards.

This behaviour happens consistently and so is pretty easy to replicate.
All versions of everything latest.
My screenshots show a) the Divi builder trying to load the front-end page itself (including a header image) when the page is the Search page and b) the Divi builder behaving normally when the page is not the search page.

I’ve read in other threads that GD v2 is 100% compatible with Divi now, and that we should report potential conflicts.
