Want to dynamically generate landing pages for locations results, by importing of CSV. Want slugs to contain information based off user-search.
example:
members/united-kingdom/yorkshire/
instead of:
July 31, 2018 at 11:55 am #440557Can you explain in more detail what are want?
If you provide your WP admin details in a private reply we probably can provide better answers. Thanks
July 31, 2018 at 12:01 pm #440558Following a website migration we’ve found 404 pages, generated by the old mapping software (places/united-kingdom/east/norwich/)
We now need to use Geodirectory to replicate a landing page like this
https://www.ggf.org.uk/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=Solar+Control+Glass&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=69&snear=london&sgeo_lat=51.5073509&sgeo_lon=-0.12775829999998223We need to if possible recreate the link structure if possible or we’ll have to redirect.

there should be pages being created automatically from templates, like:
https://www.site.com/location/united-kingdom/greater-london/
Right now, your settings appear correct, and I don’t see any obvious reason the pages are not being created.
To address that issue, please try a conflict test: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/troubleshooting-guide/#conflict
The URLs created by GD may not match your original structure.
The page you linked above is a search results page, whereas the ‘location’ pages created by GD show all the listings within a given location (city/region/country).
July 31, 2018 at 10:34 pm #440679All your links now show at http://ggf2.slx.tech/aaa/
For example these are your listings in Yorkshire:
http://ggf2.slx.tech/location/united-kingdom/yorkshire/If you want to change “location” to “members”, just change the slug of the location page if it does not conflict with another slug: http://ggf2.slx.tech/wp-admin/post.php?post=2299&action=edit
I suggest you add the Location Switcher to your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
Thanks

The different pages are explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layoutThanks
August 6, 2018 at 11:13 am #441348Ok great,
with the [gd_cpt_categories] it redirects back to the homepage how would it so it connects to the actual category choice?
August 6, 2018 at 11:57 am #441358I cannot see what you mean.
The [gd_cpt_categories] shortcode is added to this page and works as expected: http://ggf2.slx.tech/aaa/Thanks
