When you add a new listing, you can upload images as normal. If you then want to edit the listing, the image upload does not work anymore. The upload button does not respond. So you can not exchange images or upload new ones.
The same happens if you add a listing without an image and want to add an image later.
The problem exists only in the frontend. In the backend I can upload images to the existing listing.
August 29, 2018 at 3:17 pm #444508Hi Samuel.
Thanks for your post. That sounds unusual. Could you please share WP admin access to your Website in private reply so that we could check on it?
Thanks!

It seems that the frontend editor , on submit, does not proceed to the preview page and instead redirects to the home page.
Please provide FTP access so we can do some debugging.
Thanks

September 14, 2018 at 11:43 am #446493Hi Samuel,
You have disabled ‘Place’ post type at GeoDirectory > Design > Navigation > Allow post type to add from the frontend. I have added it back and it works fine now. Please review it from your side and let me know how it goes.

PatrikSeptember 18, 2018 at 6:35 am #446795Hi Patrik,
Unfortunately, the problem still exists. In your test listing, I can delete the picture and upload new pictures. But that does not work in almost all other listings. Even if I create a new listing, I can not replace the image later or upload new images. It worked once out of 10 tries and 9 times did not work.
The post type “places” is not used by us. We have created 3 own post types and only those should be used. So I have to remove your test entry again, otherwise in the search also “places” are listed, which should not be yes.

SamuelSeptember 18, 2018 at 7:56 am #446801I just checked this again.
When submitting a test job offer, it submits fine through the backend, but trying to edit through the frontend, the images are not available.
There are many console errors.
The developers have been alerted.

I have not heard anything since September 18. It’s a really big problem for me. TippDschungel.de is a new platform where the ability to upload images is crucial. As long as that does not work properly, I can not go live with the site. I have already invested a lot of money in this page and can not put it into use until the upload issue is resolved. Especially at the beginning it is important that everything works properly, otherwise the users will jump right back!
I am therefore urgently asking for a message on how to proceed. The developers have already been alerted. What has been done since then?
October 11, 2018 at 6:17 pm #449373Hello,
It looks like this was overlooked, i am just finishing for the night, i will take a look first thing tomorrow and will resolve any issues.
Thanks,
Stiofan
October 12, 2018 at 9:56 am #449421Hi Samuel,
The conflict is between the plugin wp-user-frontend and GD, they are using different versions for the jQuery UI timepicker and for some reason this is causing a conflict, disabling that plugin makes the images work.
Also not that the plugin “theme my login” breaks some queries https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#theme-my-login
Thanks,
Stiofan
