    Hi everyone,

today I woke up and… All my map bubbles are empty. See picture

As far as I can understand, it should not be a problem related to what information is actually showing in the map bubbles… Can you help me out?

Also, the Custom post “Event” is not showing in the HP map… Can you assist with that as well?

Thanks, I will send you admin data in the next private message!

Please update the GD plugin, Google changed some of its map coding.
    Thanks.

Thanks! I did it but it seems that both problems are still there…

I corrected your WP permalink settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames

I added a Home Map widget to the top section of your …/location/ pages.

The map bubbles look fine to me, see image.

I think the events issue is because you are using a reserved post type gd_event which is for events with a date. I suggest you delete that CPT and install the correct Events Manager: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/events/

Also, this may be a good time for you to convert to V2:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert

    Thanks.

    thanks guust

Everything is working… I also followed your advice concerning the events. However, after deleting the former post type I have created and installing the event plug in nothing is happening… I tried to follow the tutorial but in my case, even after activating the plug, the specific “events” heading does not appear and so I am unable to access this post type…

    Hi Gaetano,

Thanks for your reply. Just inspected your Website and I noticed that you’ve downloaded the wrong version of the plugin. Kindly download the GDV1 version of the Events Manager Addon as shown in the attached screenshot

Hi guys, thanks for your precious assistance. I followed your directions but still the map does not show the “event” listings… Do you have any other advice?
    Thanks again for your help!

Thanks guust. I am trying now to add other events to see if it works. Thanks for the offer, I sent the request for the access details to my boss.

In the meantime, I need to add mostly past events but the Event post type does not seem to allow that. Am I Wrong? If I am right, how can I do it?

    Thanks again

You can just alter the start date by typing rather then using the popup calendar.
As soon you have selected a past date as start date, the popup calendar will allow you to go back to.
This is to prevent people making mistakes when adding events.

Another option is to use the import option to bulk import events.

    Thanks
