I just upgraded the GeoDirectory plugin and I’m now getting the following error in the directory section of the page:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_tax_meta() in /home/milemama/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_hooks_actions.php on line 3899

    Error showing here: https://www.milehighmamas.com/places/camps/

What do I need to do to fix this?

    Hello James,

Please check to make sure you have upgraded all your GD plugins at the same time. You can use WP Easy Updates for fast and easy updates.

If upgrading all the Addons doesn’t fix the issue, you can create a private reply and include your WP and FTP access credentials so we can diagnose the issue.

Thanks for your reply. I updated GeoDirectory plugin initially and that is when I saw that error. It was the only one on the plugins page that is showing an update available. GeoDirectory Location Manager (1.4.3) and GeoDirectory Payment Manager (1.4.4) do now show an update available.

    Hello!

Please update all the GD plugins, as they are designed to work together, and we can only provide support for the latest released version. Location Manager should be at 1.5.62

you can find the latest versions here:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/

That version of Location Manager, that you have now, is old enough to predate WP Easy Updates, and so it is not telling you that it needs to be updated. Once you get it current, WP Easy Updates can inform you of future updates.

To change all references from HTTP to HTTPS you should use this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/

Your Location Manager is so outdated by now, you can only replace it using FTP or this plugin:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy

    Thanks

Thanks for the tip on Location Manager. If it can’t be updated, what is the safest way to do it and not lose data?
