Error installing location manager plugin

When I install location manager addon it installs just fine, but I get this error when I try to activate it:

There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin.

I am using the latest version of Geodirectory and the latest version of location manger. Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your post. Could you please make sure that you’ve installed the correct version of the plugin? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#version . If the issue persists, could you please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?

Hello. As it turns out I had installed the incorrect version. When you purchase the plugin, the splash page that appears displays two different versions, and doesn’t provide any guidance on which file the user should be installing. I just assumed either one would be up to date, but the top file provided was an old version. Very confusing to us new users. Thank you for your reply.

HI Chad, sorry for the confusion. We have hidden the older version in the account tab on this site where you would download it directly.

Do you mean the email confirmation you received?

Thanks for the info, i found that the v1 addons were displaying on the confirmation page, i have removed these now.
