Hi
In the follow post I list some error (I add pictures) and one question:ERROR 1: when user introduce a place (add-listin), web shows “LISTING PREVIUW”. In the table there are 2 errors:
1.1 The PROFILE section don’t show the DESCRIPTION. I use “Event Manager Plugin”. When I active “Event Manager”, the PROFILE section show “Powered by Event Manager”. When I disactive “Event Manager” the PROFILE section don’t show any text. Can I solve this problem?
1.2 The MAP section don’t show the map. Always “loading”
In the problems 1.1 and 1.2 When place is published, all is OK, but in the previuw step there are PROFILE and MAP error. (I add 2 pictures)ERROR 2: When user add a place, before click in “REVIUW YOUR LISTIN” user must click in “Please accept terms and conditions”, but “terms and conditions” opens a new page where there is another one the same page “Add-listing”.
Do I need add terms and conditions text? where is the option to indriduce text?
If I add the text, when user click in “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” it will redirect to the correct page?ERROR 3: This is a grafic error in the map. I have installed “GeoDirectory – Enfold Theme Compatibility”. When I select a place, on the left zone only half of the map is shown. Maybe it’s for no good integration with ENFOLD THEME. Can you solve that? (I add picture)
QUESTION 1: Can I remove the follow option “Set “CATEGORY” as default category” when user select the category? (I add picture).
Thank’s very much.
January 29, 2015 at 9:47 am #291481. Events Manager and the GD Events Addon do not work well together. All I can suggest at this time is to use the GD Events Addon, it integrates perfectly with the GD maps and listings.
2. GD > design > > listings > ADD LISTING FORM SETTINGS
3. Appearance > GD Listing right sidebar > Gmap listing > Map Sticky(should stick to the right of screen)
This is a bug, I’ll notify the developers of this.4. You could add this to your CSS:
.post_default_category {display:none}
But you probably want to allow people to choose the default category if you allow a listing to be added to more than one category.
January 29, 2015 at 1:32 pm #29157Hi,
Thank’s for the last answers.1. I use BuddyPress. Event Manager is compatible with BuddyPress (when user create a event, the plugin add a post into the group I have selected). It’s a very good solution in order to generate dinamic network. Geo Directory with “multilocation plugin” is a very good solution for to have a directory, but in my web with buddypress, for the events post, I need to use “Events Manager”.
So, for solve the problem I thought the follow: I should remove the preview.
Is It possible?2. OK
3. In my wordpress, in appearence there is not GD Listing right sidebar. This option (GD Listing right sidebar) is in Dashboard => All Pages => Location. I have selected this option (GD Listing right sidebar), but there is no more options (there aren’t Gmap listing / Map Sticky).
Do I need search Gmap listing and Map Sticky? Where are this optinos?
Or only I will hope that developer will solve the problem?4. Ok
I hope your answer for question 1 and 3.
Thank’s very much for your solutions.January 29, 2015 at 1:45 pm #291581. GD Events works with BuddyPress too. I cannot answer the rest of this question, just wait for Paolo or Stiofan to drop by.
3. Oops, I meant Appearance > widgets > GD Listing right sidebar > Gmap listing > Map Sticky(should stick to the right of screen)
There is something wrong with the CSS but I cannot figure it out.January 29, 2015 at 2:39 pm #291611. I understood that GeoDirectory is compatible and run correctly with BuddyPress, but it is no 100% integrated with BuddyPress. There is no relation with Groups and GeoDirectory.
I also think Events Addons is compatibility and run correctly with BuddyPress, but it is no 100% integrated with BuddyPress. There is no relation with Groups and Events.
I think @paolo know that.
When “Event Addons” and “GeoDirectory” will be integrated with BuddyPress, I will be very happy to buy “Event Addons”.
At this moment I need solve incompatibility beetween “Event Manager” and “GeoDirectory”, so I need know if I can remove the preview when user add a place.
Is It possible?3. I have “Map Sticky(should stick to the right of screen)” marked, so I only hope developer understands where is the wrong with the CSS.
I only hope answer to the question number 1.
Thak’s for your support.
I’m very happy with GeoDirectory support.January 29, 2015 at 3:57 pm #29169We are building a compatibility pack for buddypress which will make it 100% compatible and it will be released in beta any day now.
The map sticky looks ok to me on ur site?
Thanks,
Stiofan
January 29, 2015 at 4:19 pm #29171Hi, @StiofanOConnor
Ok, I hope your news about compatibility.“The map sticky looks ok to me on ur site?” is a question or is it an affirmation / claim?
Sorry, but I don’t speak very good english…
In my web the map is no ok. When I select a place, on the right zone only half of the map is shown. I add a picture
Guust seen the same and told me: “There is something wrong with the CSS but I cannot figure it out.”
Thank’s
January 29, 2015 at 9:43 pm #29192Stiofan, look at http://soysostenible.website/places/
The map slides in from the container edge, not the window’s edge and only shows partly.February 3, 2015 at 9:41 pm #29827 -
