I understand documentation is still being developed for the REST API, but would it be possible to get some example GET queries for it?
Also, is the WP REST API v2 required or should v1 work as well? Thank you.

Hi Mark,

For the basics the routes are added to the base API routes, this should get you started with basics calls.

I am sorry I am new to Geo Directory and WP REST API. I was able to derive the following GET URL: /wp-json/posts?type[]=gd_food_beverage

From what I gather, I need to query one type/category at a time, is that correct?

Also, the result JSON does not contain all of the fields. I can see it is missing address, lat/long, email, website & social media URLs, etc. How do I get these fields in the resultset?

I need to get back to my client with a status: Are the missing fields not available in the alpha release (if so, any projection on when they might be available) or am I missing something? Thank you.
