Hello, I’m just setting up the plugin and when I try to create the new API key it gives this error: Generate API Key – (MUST be logged in to your Google account)

I’ve already logged into my account and created a new project with a new API key an tried to paste the API Key into the box and click Generate API key. Either with it empty or with the key pasted in the box, I get the same message. I want to enable and test this plugin first before buying the 1 year subscription.

Hello,

You can test the plugin with OpenStreetMap, just select OpenStreetMap at the menu

Geodirectory – Design – Map – Map Provider

If you already have a Google Maps Platform API key, great, just paste it into the API key field, and save the settings.

If you need a new key, then you press the Generate API Key button and a new key will be created. Copy that key from the popup and paste into the field.

I think there may be a misunderstanding here.
Once you paste the key, you need to save the page down the bottom, not generate a new key again.
