Team, My site wouldn’t load today. I did a lot of troubleshooting. Eventually in deactivating all plugins and then reactivating them 1 by 1 I found geodirectory to be the offender. I use multi-site and when the plugin is in my directory at all it causes the primary site and all sub-sites to not load at all even though it is only active one 1 sub-site.
I’m wondering if there is somewhere I can download previous versions? I would like to roll back to the previous version to see if that works. It would help me isolate the issue to the latest version.
June 2, 2017 at 5:02 pm #381345Hi,
do you have any outdated add-ons running on the same install?
Let us know,
Thanks
June 2, 2017 at 5:07 pm #381348There are some that do need to be updated for sure. But isolated, geodirectory by itself without any other active plugins was doing the same thing. So I don’t think its a plugin to plugin compatibility issue.
June 2, 2017 at 5:10 pm #381350I can’t recreate this on any of our demos (multisite) and no other member reported this, so it’s either a conflict with an outdate gd add-on or with a 3rd aprty plugin.
Please try to update everything, if that wasn’t the issue, try to deactivate all non GD plugins momentarily and let us know how it goes.
Thanks
June 2, 2017 at 7:13 pm #381377Ok, I just did some more testing.
I deactivated ALL network plugins
I deactivated ALL plugins on the sub-site where I run GeoDirectory
I reinstalled and activated GeoDirectory on the sub-site.
The entire network went down.
I remove GeoDirectory and everything comes back up.Can this still be a plugin conflict given that it was only activated on 1 sub-site on the network… all by itself without any other plugins but it brought down the entire network?
If that isn’t a plugin conflict what else can I troubleshoot?
If it is a plugin issue then its over my core WordPress knowledge given what I’ve done to troubleshoot to this point.
June 2, 2017 at 7:21 pm #381381Do you have access to a server error log? If not, please provide a link, admin and FTP credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks

June 5, 2017 at 12:59 pm #381695Hi Jacob,
I have installed GeoDirectory on sub-site https://biz.concealedcarry.com/ and it seems works fine there.
I have done some changes.
– Added define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1024M’); in wp-config.php
– Home page map got stuck because it going to load 70k+ listings markers. To fix this i have unticked some categories from GD > Design > Map. (We recommends GD Marker Cluster plugin that loads markers dynamically with cluster)Let us know.
Thanks,
KiranJune 5, 2017 at 1:11 pm #381697Kiran, thank you. Not sure what I was doing differently but glad it worked for you!
I generally have Marker Cluster and a lot of the other addons installed and active but had removed them last week when I had issues. I will restore them now.
Thank you again for your support!
