Hello GD,
I noticed that all changes I made previously to any .po / .mo (that previously reflected on my site) are now all gone & reverted back to default as if no changes were ever made.
I checked geodirectory-en_US.po (wp-content > languages > geodirectory > geodirectory-en_US.po) and all changes are still present, just do not reflect on site. ( I did also compile new .mo and uploaded, of course.)
Also the changes I made to the geodiradvancesearch-en_US.po / .mo advanced search files no longer reflect.
Any idea as to why my changes to .po / .mo no longer reflect on my site?
( I did double check .po for changes, compile new .mo & re-upload to language folder… no change)I thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/Second thing to check if your language settings are still correct:
WP admin > Settings > General > Site LanguageTo check anything else, we would need FTP details.

There must be one of your plugins interfering maybe, I suggest to disable any caching (WP Performance Score Booster?) and see whether that fixes anything. You have caching enabled in your config file too.
September 18, 2015 at 11:57 am #53544I have exactly the same problem and it started after the last updates.
September 18, 2015 at 12:13 pm #53545Hi Guust,
Deactivated then Removed WP Performance… Plugin, nothing happened.
Thanks for looking
September 18, 2015 at 12:33 pm #53546The only thing I see that has that has changed from when it was last working correctly til now is the WordPress 4.3.1 update from the 15th.
September 18, 2015 at 6:35 pm #53588Hi,
I’ve just tested translation on a website with 4.3.1 and everything else up to date and it’s working as it should: http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/new-york/new-york/5-stars/crosby-street-hotel/ I translated “Phone” and changed with “Telephone (testing translation)”.
The only difference I see from our install and yours (see images attached), is the version 4.3.1–en that you have installed of wordpress and this part: This localized version contains both the translation and various other localization fixes. You can skip upgrading if you want to keep your current translation.
I’m not 100% sure what that is and if it is the problem and I have to ask to Stiofan to check.
Thanks for your patience,
September 18, 2015 at 6:42 pm #53592@luxasd are you too using a localized version of WP?
I’m trying to find a pattern…Let us know,
ThanksSeptember 19, 2015 at 6:49 am #53633September 19, 2015 at 8:53 am #53636Hi KB,
Your WP install was not using any language specific country code, i have never seen this and not sure what would cause it. All i did that fixed it was i changed the language to English UK and then back to English American and it started using the en_US rather than the “en” is was using before.
@luxasd, if you can try what is did first and if that fails please start your own topic and we will have a look.
Thanks,
Stiofan
