No pressure sir, I actually misread it and realized it said “we just have to wait”. I do wish it can be fixed and would like to continue using GeoDirectory. Also I would like to include that I believe the problem started after I attempted to migrate files from a Shared Hosting Account to a VPS account, if that helps let me know.

    Hello Willie,

There is no widgets applied to GD Home Page widget sections. I have applied default widgets not GD Home page showing content fine.

    Let us know.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

So, GDV1 displays content with widgets and shortcodes, and there is a GD Home page, which is set on your site as a sub-page and the home of the directory.

GDV2 uses shortcodes, blocks and widgets, and you can build a custom home page.

In either case, the “default” settings are just a combination of widgets/shortcodes.

It sounds like you want to place a GD > Home Map on the home page. Have you tried that?

You can use the options in

    GD – Design – Home

to adjust the display of the GD Home page.

You can also just go ahead and convert to V2 which offers a lot more flexibility with building a home page to meet the needs of your niche site.
