Hi Support Team,
Any update for me ?
June 13, 2019 at 6:44 am #492718Hi Tracy,
There was old theme template file at /wp-content/themes/bb-theme-child/geodirectory/listing-filter-form.php.
I have updated that file to make compatible like \wp-content\plugins\geodirectory\templates\listing-filter-form.phpPlease check and let us know.
Best Regards,
KiranJune 13, 2019 at 7:28 am #492727Great, Thanks
I’m assuming you worked on Issue #1, But it is displaying only selected city professionals, when we select from dropdown, what about in 200 miles radius ?
June 13, 2019 at 8:40 am #492737Hello,
200 miles radius filter is applied when searched by location not selected from dropdown.
If you choose location from dropdown then it filters results within specific location.
If you search zip or location or address(ex: Scarborough Beach Rd) then it filters results within 200 miles radius of search location.Kiran
June 13, 2019 at 10:37 am #492762Thank You Kiran,
Will you please check Issue #3, I’m using [gd_listings post_type=”gd_professional”] shortcode on my live using Geo-Directory V1.
I have to display all professional with pagination and I had tried pagination parameter from: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
1. with_pagination – Display pagination – options are 1 [true] or 0 [false] (default = 1)
2. top_pagination – Display pagination on top – options are 1 [true] or 0 [false] (default = 0)
3. bottom_pagination – Display pagination on bottom – options are 1 [true] or 0 [false] (default = 1)But its not working for me here: https://staging5.pelvicguru.com/directory/

Can we show a sliding bar for this for users to be able to slide how far they want to travel, not just a quick search of 200 miles, as in V1?
June 20, 2019 at 9:59 pm #494085The slider is not available, so it would require a customization.
June 21, 2019 at 10:54 am #494157This reply has been marked as private.June 21, 2019 at 12:00 pm #494162Que1. Are you providing this type of customization or I have to hire from somewhere else? If Yes, What will be the cost of adding a radius slider bar in search?
We do not provide paid customization. You can find help here:
https://geodirectoryexperts.com—
Que2. Can we use the driving path instead of crow flies path or direct lines that cross rivers path to measure distance in search?
No, this is not possible with search.
—
Que3. Can we sort the professional listing by some custom keyword?
You can achieve this by using hooks.
Here are examples:

June 22, 2019 at 9:50 am #494271When we search as Ontario – no listings come up, just write the text and search instead of choosing from the suggested dropdown, why?
June 22, 2019 at 5:19 pm #494292I exmplained that in an earlier reply. I’ll try to explain with more details.
If you don’t select from the suggested dropdown, you are searching “near” the center of your location, with the radius defined in your Settings > Search
The center of Ontario is quite far from where most of your Ontario listings are: https://www.google.com/maps/place/51%C2%B015'13.6%22N+85%C2%B019'23.6%22W/@51.3679535,-94.2923662,5z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d51.253775!4d-85.323214
Some listings in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan are closer to the center of Ontario compared to most of the listings in Ontario.
If you extend the search radius to 500 miles or more you’ll see what I’m saying.
Thanks

If you look up MI for Michigan instead of Michigan it has not shown as many listings, Is there a way for us to Short name instead of the long form and state abbreviations?
June 24, 2019 at 7:46 am #494424Can we add the exact mileage/distance per each listing? So, it would have 10 miles or 200 miles next to their name per search?
June 24, 2019 at 11:02 am #494454Hello Tracy,

Searching by just “MI” it is difficult to find correct address. But if directory is limited to country/region then you can set near address at GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Search > Search near additional. If you set Search near additional to “United States” the near field will search results within United States. Ex: searching for “MI” will find listings near to Michigan.

Do you want to search within exact mileage/distance? If so please check this documentation: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/search/#search-by-distance
If this is not what you asking then clarify with more details.Best Regards,
