The autocomplete for Google is not working.

I checked the support posts and I seem to be doing everything correctly. Would appreciate if you could check for me and help me fix it.

Hi,
that is normally caused by the Google Maps API having the autocomplete API disabled.

Please try to create a new API key, by clicking the new Generate API key button.

Let us know if that works.

Hi Paolo,

Sorry, I hate to trouble you again, but unfortunately using the above method it did solve the issue of autocomplete for Google but another earlier problem arose: the map on the left next to the photos is missing. http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2002131/c69d623c3b20db5d0f50c010c802e23f

Would appreciate if you could let me know how to fix it.

Hi again,

now probably the static map API is disabled on the API settings for this API key.

GD is supposed to generate the KEY with all settings needed, but maybe Stiofan forgot to add the static maps that we use for Whoop only.

I asked him to verify and he’ll let you know asap.

Hi Paolo,

Note that not only is the static map missing but the auto complete for google address is also not working whether for search or for adding listings.

I hope Stiofan can expedite on it as I have already launch my site.

Hi James,

Yes that was missing, i have now added all possible api requests to the list.
You can simply go in to your google api console and activate that api https://console.developers.google.com/projectselector/apis/enabled

I tried updating the code on your site but it kept timing out.

BTW, what codes were you trying to update that it kept timing out?
And did you add any codes after all for “added all possible api requests to the list”? If so, where?
